Rick Buchholz
Director of Recruiting | Southwest Region
U.S. Army
Following in his father’s footsteps, Rick Buchholz always had an interest in joining the U.S. Army. But what sealed the deal was the opportunity to receive assistance through the Army College Fund (ACF). The ACF was an enlistment incentive option designed to aid in the recruitment of highly qualified soldiers for specific specialties.
More than 20 years, Rick served in the U.S. Army working in a variety of job assignments such as artillery, logistics and recruiting. As a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, Rick served two tours in Germany, a tour in Fort Carson, Colorado and a tour at Fort Hood, Texas, where he was deployed to Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. The U.S. Army honored Rick with two Meritorious Service Medals for being recognized as a top recruiter.
“The Army taught me seven core values that I practice every minute of every day here at Allied Universal: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless-Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage,” said Rick. “The military and security vocations offer many parallels in terms of mission, training and experience making Allied Universal a perfect fit for veterans.”
As Director of Recruiting, Rick truly feels blessed to have the opportunity to help people create a new and successful career path for themselves. By utilizing his military experience and training, his goal is to help his team achieve success.
