Preparing For Violent Incidents On Campus Begins With Understanding The Path To Violence
Active Assailant incidents are frightening regardless of the location in which they occur. When they occur on a school campus, however, these shocking events feel even more devastating.
Although Active Assailant incidents on school campuses may seem sudden and unplanned, research shows there is a typical “path to violence” commonly followed by most assailants. Understanding this path and knowing how to intervene at each step should therefore be the foundation of any school’s Active Assailant preparedness plan.
Join us for the first webinar in our series of “Active Assailant Preparedness” webinars as we explore the “path to violence.” Our presenters will review each step in the path and discuss the solutions and resources that can be employed to help improve security and reduce vulnerability.
