Allied Universal is committed to advancing the lives and careers of those in the communities we serve. Our relationships with our employees and our clients are at the heart of everything we do, each and every day.

That is why we created the Allied Universal Partners in Employment Program (PIE), a grassroots referral program that partners with local community-based organizations to share employment opportunities, while supporting their fundraising initiatives.

As part of the program, our goal is to work with veterans’ groups, faith-based congregations, senior organizations, and higher education institutions to hire more than 50,000 full- and part-time employees by the end of 2017.

That may sound ambitious. However the U.S. Department of Labor’s recent report cites a record 6.2 million job openings. And we’re working with the best base of local groups with access to people who may be in need of work. But how will this help build up communities? Through the program, organizations that refer their members will receive a $400 contribution for every employee hired. We think that’s a pretty good deal.

To help with this effort, we’re also holding recruitment drives in more than 25 locations nationwide. We’ll be in cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Phoenix, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Detroit, Indianapolis, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Seattle. Visit www.aus.com/hiringevents for additional recruitment drive events.

Why would someone come to work for us? Here are a few great reasons:

  • Allied Universal offers bonus referral incentives, 401k and bonus plans, and provides uniforms, and healthcare benefits to employees, with advancement opportunities at more than 20,000 client locations. We offer on-the-job training and have produced over 300 specialized courses as part of our Allied Universal Institute.

  • We also deploy the latest technology and solutions that enable employees to develop and advance. In fact, Over 65% of our managerial positions are filled internally with phenomenal employees seeking growth and promotional opportunities.

  • Additionally, we recently created a new referral program to empower our existing security professionals to find new security team members by awarding them $1,000 for every new hire. What’s more, we were named one of America's Best Employers in 2017 by Forbes Magazine.

We invite you to be a part of our process to help build communities. Anyone looking for a great opportunity should check out our Careers page. Any groups interested in participating in the PIE program can visit www.aus.com/communitycareers to sign up or learn more.
