These figures represent a 60% increase in active shooter events since 2019. Security Professional Helps Locate Baseball-Loving Missing Teen at Famous Stadium

One recent game day, a major league baseball stadium in New York received a call from a concerned mother whose 18-year-old son with autism left the house at 2 p.m. and had not been seen for hours. Knowing he is a huge baseball fan and there was a game taking place, the mother had a feeling her son would be in or near the stadium. When notified, Canine Handler Figueroa immediately shared that he had seen the young man earlier in the day outside a stadium gate. Staff in the stadium’s command center reviewed camera angles and located the teen in the parking lot as the game ended.
